Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effects of hormones and different rooting media used on rooting of the large-leaved lime (Tilia platyphyllos Scop.) plant on rooting and root density. The study was conducted in the Research and Application Greenhouse of Karadeniz Technical University Forestry Faculty. In the study, four different rooting media (perlite, peat, pumice and sand) and different doses of three different hormones (0.5%IBA, 0.8%IBA, 1%IBA, 0.5%IAA, 0.8%IAA, 1%IAA, 0.5%NAA , 0.8%NAA, 1%NAA) effects on root density, rooting percentage, root number and root length values were investigated. The highest value in terms of rooting rate was found in control steels in pumice rooting media with 73%. The highest value in terms of root density was achieved in %0.5 IAA process in pumice rooting media. The highest amount of roots was formed in the perlite rooting environment with 7.38 pieces in %0.5 IAA process. The longest average root length was 67.43 mm and the longest maximum root length was 83.02 mm, obtained from %1 IBA process in peat rooting medium.
