Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to examine the effect of positive psychological capital on job satisfaction in working life. In the research, first of all, the historical development, definition and importance of positive psychology are included. After that, the definition, importance, sub-components, individual and organizational benefits of positive psychological capital are given. Then, the definition of the concept of job satisfaction, its importance and the factors affecting job satisfaction are mentioned. In the continuation of the research, the relationship between positive psychological capital and job satisfaction is explained. Within the scope of the research, the universe of the research carried out to reveal the effect of positive psychological capital on job satisfaction consisted of employees in an automotive sector in Bursa in the years 2021-2022. The online survey method was used in the research. Personal information form, "Positive Psychology Capital Scale" and "Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. The data obtained with the participation of 318 participants were analyzed with the statistical package program and conclusions and suggestions were made for the findings. As a result of the research, it was determined that the employees showed a positive and weak significant relationship between their perceptions of optimism, resilience, hope and self-efficacy and their job satisfaction levels.
