Abstract (EN)

Modem technological development and population growth have increased the pressure on natural resources and consequently resources have severely been depleted or even destroyed. The classical idea of tourism (sea, sand, sun) has changed and inclines towards to basic nature tourism as an alternative. In order to guarantee the future of developing countries, it is crucial importance that these make sustainably use of their natural resources. According to this new idea, the protection of natural resources is very important and can be achieved through integrated conservation. Therefore, regions ofhatural resources are being categorised and classified as protected areas. One of the most valuable investment for the future is national park. This work contains an application of a suggested method to evaluate national parks. The method is applied for the Elevit Valley, a site rich in natural resources.
