Edible plants garden landscape design and application in the sample of Çaycuma campus

The purpose of this research; Edible plants garden landscape design and application in Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Çaycuma Campus, which is one of the dynamic places that always develop and change within the framework of diversified needs and demands while providing education and training services. In this context, site selection and survey work was carried out in Çaycuma Vocational School Campus. Afterwards, after determining the most suitable area in the campus, a survey study was conducted for students and academic-administrative staff in order to determine the preferences of the campus users. Survey data were analyzed using SPSS 20 statistical package program. In line with the findings, the edible landscape design project was prepared using Autocad, Lumion 3D Vusion 4.1, Sketch Up, Photoshop CS6 extended programs, and its structural and vegetative application was started. In the last stage of the research, a survey was conducted on the research sample to measure the satisfaction and attitude towards the edible plants landscape project. As a result of the thesis work; the usability of the working area in its new state has increased, the knowledge about the edible plants garden has increased, the use of different elements in the edible plant garden landscape gives an aesthetic appearance, the walking paths are sufficient, the sitting areas are sufficient, different plant designs are used compared to the past, the variety of texture and shape in the plants. products showing the beauty of fruit and flowers are used, fruit leaf colors are visually appealing, there are enough plants, the plants are well-maintained, there is enough grass area, it makes one happy to harvest, the hard ground and green area are in harmony, the ornamental pools are relaxing, the ponds are empty. The result is that the landscape design of the edible plants garden brings prestige to the campus.
