Abstract (EN)

Domes are structural elements used as cover systems in buildings throughout history. As a result of various needs, the number of shells of these cover systems has increased over time. Therefore, the concept of "Double Shell Domes" has emerged. The aim of this study is to give information about double ort domes, which are found in important buildings in our country and in the ort and about which there are few studies, and to examine the structural behavior of Zeynel Bey Tomb, which has a double ort dome. As a result of the analysis, the highest tensile stress occurred at the base of the structure and the highest compressive stress occured at the top points of the doors. Another aim of the study is to investigate the effect of the number and thickness of the stiffeners, which are the system elements of double-shell domes, on the earthquake behavior. ort his purpose, 7 models were created and spectral analysis applied on the models. The best performing model was Model-7,5-12 with 12 stiffeners. It was determined that if the stiffeners are used in appropriate number and position, they have a positive effect on the structural behavior.
