Geographic research of çifteler town

Doç. Dr. Hasan KARAThis research includes the administrative boundaries of Çifteler. Theseboundaries are in Yukarı Sakarya part of ç Anadolu Region as to georaphy, however,these boundaries are in Eskişehir as to administrative. The are of Çifteler is 820 km² and itcontains one city center and 22 villages, in 2007.This area have variety of natuural and human properties. So, the aims of thisresearch are to introduce the Çifteler and to know the situation and the problems and tohave the solutions as a geographical methodology.In Çifteler the population is 18.545 as a research of 2000. The population ofÇifteler increased, because of the Turkish immigrationin XIX and XX century, fort hisreason different cultures have effected each other and cultural variety have occured here.This situation must be searched as human geography, this is also the aim of this research.The population increased rapidly because of the immigration at the begining ofthe XX century and the population was maximum in 1965. Nowadays, Çifteler has aproblem like most of the cities in Turkey, immigration to big centers. So, there is a bigimmigration from villages to city centers and to metropolises. The other aim of thisresearch is to search this situation in this limited area.This research has three parts, Natural Environment Properties, HumanEnvironment Properties and Economic Geography Properties of Çifteler. In theconclusion, I mentioned about the problems and precautions , then I completed theresearch.
