Determination of some strategic raw materials in plants growing around the cement factory

Abstract (EN)

The main purpose of this thesis is to determine the concentrations of some strategic raw materials in some plant species grown around the cement factory. For this purpose, almond, wheat, mulberry, pomegranate, pine and grape plants grown around the cement factory were harvested and strategic raw materials such as cobalt (Co), strontium (Sr), antimony (Sb), phosphorus (P), lanthanum (La) and magnesium (Mg) concentrations were determined. According to the data obtained, the highest cobalt concentration in the leaf part was 0.43 mg/kg in the pine plant, the highest strontium concentration was 209.4 mg/kg in the grape plant, the highest antimony concentration was 0.09 mg/kg in the pine plant. Phosphorus concentration was determined as 2990 mg/kg in wheat plant, the highest lanthanum concentration was 0.31 mg/kg in pine plant and the highest magnesium concentration was 4790 mg/kg in mulberry plant. Cobalt concentrations detected in the leaf part were Pine > Almond > Grape > Mulberry > Wheat > Pomegranate; strontium concentrations were Grape > Mulberry > Pine > Almond > Pomegranate > Wheat; antimony concentrations were Pine > Grape > Wheat = Pomegranate = Almond = Mulberry; phosphorus concentrations were Wheat > Mulberry > Almond > Grape > Pomegranate > Pine; lanthanum concentrations were listed as Pine > Grape > Almond > Mulberry > Wheat > Pomegranate and magnesium concentrations were Mulberry > Almond > Grape > Pomegranate > Pine > Wheat.
