Abstract (EN)
By evaluating the Refuse Derived Fuels (ATY) used in cement plants from an environmental and economic point of view, it is aimed to determine various parameters of the waste before it is fed to the kiln and to develop approaches that can contribute to the elimination of problems that may arise in the case of incineration of inappropriate ATYs. The most critical parameter of ATY, which will be fed to the cement kiln, is the chlorine value. In addition, moisture, ash, amount of volatile matter, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur and calorific value are also parameters that should be controlled in terms of the suitability of the waste. Moisture, ash, volatile matter, elemental analysis (C, H, N, O and S), calorific value and chlorine analyzes of the supplied ATY samples were performed in the laboratory. In addition, validation studies were carried out for elemental analysis, chlorine and calorific value analyses, and the reliability and accuracy of the studies were checked.
