A Research on the interior spaces of juvenile prisons

A Research On The Interior Spaces Of Juvenile Prisons Children are the most important part of the society. The juvenile prisons have an important role in the process of the re socialized period of delinquent juveniles who handed over to conscience of society and justice of the government. In this research; the spaces of juvenile prisons are examined and tried to determine the needs and wishes of delinquent juveniles, safe, healthy, comfortable and aesthetic space and furniture designs and material and lastly the spaces which are need by juvenile prisons. This research have six chapter. First chapter is a literature review of juvenile delinquent concept, the reason and kinds of juvenile delinquency, the rights of juveniles, the legal laws about them, the reform institutions and prisons of juveniles, the treatments of these institutions, the space concept, the relation between juveniles, space and color and lastly planning and design suggestions of juvenile prisons Second chapter defines the research problems, reasons and aims of the study and the methodology of the research. Third chapter obtains the findings of the research and the summary table of these findings. Fourth chapter is the examination of the findings and table. Fifth chapter derives conclusions from the findings and suggestions about them. Sixth chapter includes the photographs of juvenile prisons, the agreement of juvenile rights and the law commands of juveniles.Key Words: Juvenile, delinquency, reform, juvenile prison treatments.
