A versatile evaluation of children's literature texts: The sample of Sara Gürbüz Özeren

Education is a lifelong process that continues with the beginning school life in the family. In this process, children's literature works are seen as a tool that plays a role in children's education. Works of children's literature are an effective educational tool in the mental and psychological development of children. In addition to developing children's reading skills, it is also the primary factor in the formation and development of a child's language knowledge. In addition to improving reading education, there is an initial participation in the development of the child's world of emotions and thoughts, as well as the acquisition of critical and creative thinking skills. It is an important consideration that the works that have received pens for children acquire the value judgments of the children's community, the rights that the child has with the unique superiority of children's literature the child has lifelong guidance education and the preparation of children's life is an important aspect. The aim of this research is to examine the application of children's literature texts to children's literature, the status of children's rights, the values it carries and the images contained in children's works from the application to children's literature and to ensure that it is a preliminary study to subsequent studies. The institutional framework of "Measurement of Evaluation in Children's Literature Texts" and " Evaluation of Visuals in Children's Literature Texts", which are intended to be used in the research, have been determined and those given through the examination of the documents have been collected. The qualitative data collected during the examination of the documents were analyzed by the analysis method and a rubric was created to be measured by a draft. 12 expert opinions were obtained and the result was reached using the Lawshe technique. "Evaluation Evaluation of Children's Books from their Application to Children's Literature" was prepared from the researcher for the study. In the pilot application, 101 participants were reached; in the main application, 302 participants and the results obtained are still the results of those analyzed by the statistics program.
