The effect of child centered play therapy on children's problematic behaviors

There are many type of play therapy. One of them is Child-Centered Play Therapy. In this research the effect of Child-Centered Play Therapy on children's problematic behaviors is analysed. As a part of research Child-Centered Play Therapy is implemented 30 children between age 6-10. Sample were chosen from who admitted to private counseling center in Istanbul. In this research pretest-posttest research desing is used. Children's problematic behaviors is measured before and after the research by Child Behavioral Check List (CBCL). The data ise analysed paired-samples t test and wilcoxon test. As a result, it is founded that Child-Centered Play Therapy is an effective method on childrens problematic behaviors and psychological problems.
