Children's furniture gains sensory-friendly features when it supports sensory development by containing sensory stimuli. In order to support the development of the sensory system, which is the basis of child development, it is important to offer sensory-friendly designs that will contribute to the child user in many ways. The correct inclusion of sensory-friendly features in designs contributes to the sensory, emotional, cognitive and social development of the child by ensuring the positive progress of the sensory integration process. The study is shaped on the basis of the development of sensory systems, centred on the concepts of child, furniture and sensory integration. In the study, it is aimed to develop sensory-friendly furniture design strategies that can guide designers and whose user group is children. In this direction, 12 qualified furniture examples were selected and the sensory friendly design approaches of these furniture were analysed. As a result, sensory friendly features that can be presented in furniture and their effects on child development have been determined and sensory friendly furniture design strategies for children have been developed in the light of the data obtained.
