Abstract (EN)

In this study, a composite disc was modeled with multiple holes. The composite material had thermoplastic matrix and it was reinforced via steel fibers. The finite element method (FEM) was used for solution. For this aim, the ANSYS code was preferred for both modeling and analysis. Composite disc was firstly created as three dimensional as a difference to compare with earlier studies. The various boundary conditions, uniform temperatures and angular velocities were carried out on three dimensional composite disc with multiple holes. The created thermal stresses were calculated and their distributions on the disc were obtained. The effect on distributions and magnitudes of stresses of multiple holes where created on the disc was investigated. According to obtained results, the values and distributions of stresses created on disc were changed by changing both applied uniform temperature and angular velocity. In addition, the stress concentrations were occurred around holes.
