Abstract (EN)

At the same time period, people from different cultures, living in different stages of social change, and using different technologies, each one being "unique", are increasingly demanding houses that are compatible with their individual preferences, rather than being trapped in standard-type project boxes. With this research the question sought was, is it possible to produce "Custom Houses" that can meet these demands in multi-story apartment buildings during the social development phase we are in? In the introduction part of the study, the definition of the problem, its objectives, scope and boundaries, the methods and information sources followed, the methods and techniques of obtaining information are briefly explained. In the second chapter, a brief history of the historical development of residence, multi-story residential buildings and interior arrangements were given and the conceptual infrastructure of the study was established. In the third chapter, the process of changing housing demands and the process of production has been examined. It is discussed how different demands of interior use can be determined and how these demands can be met in the design-application phase In the fourth chapter, "custom design housing in a multi-story building" application is examined. In the fifth chapter, the study was concluded with the results, evaluation and of the research and suggestions. Keywords: residence, multi-story residences, apartment, custom design
