Creating the context dictionary of Coodarbeshim Epic (Abdikerim Asan variant)

The words have various meanings. They may not always be used in the first meaning that comes to mind. What determines the meaning of the word is the context in which the word is used. Therefore evaluating words alone will not give us accurate results. To find the meaning of the words, it would be more correct to look at the text in which the word is mentioned. Dictionaries are the most basic resources we use to learn the meanings of words that we do not know and we take advantage while learning other languages. They are the most valuable language treasures that show us the world view of societies. Dictionaries have been prepared in many fields until today, and studies on preparation of dictionaries are still ongoing. Many dictionaries have also been prepared in the field of Contemporary Turkish Dialects. However, the lack of studies on context dictionary in the field of Contemporary Turkish Dialects draws the attention. One of the aims of the study is to provide convenience to people who will do research in this field. The Context Dictionary of the Epic of Coodarbeshim (Abdıkerim Asan Variant) was transcribed and uploaded to TEBDİZ (Contextual Index of History and Liteature Text and Functional Dictionary) website, and the contextual dictionary of the work was prepared. The aim of the study is to reveal the vocabulary of the Epic of Coodarbeshim, to determine the elements in the work with the nuances of meaning by checking their context, to contribute to the Kyrgyz dictionaries and to facilitate the linguistic and stylistic studies to be done later.
