Evaluation of the renovated management and silviculture plans of Hisar (Oltu) Forest Administration in the Scope of the Coruh River Watershed Rehabilitation Project

This study was carried out to evaluate the renovated management and silviculture plans of Hisar (Oltu) forest administration in the scope of the Çoruh River Watershed Rehabilitation Project. At the first stage of the study, 5 - year national development plans were evaluated in terms of forestry to understand the planning approach and process in Turkey. Works and processes in Management and silviculture plans were evaluated by considering the applications in Hisar Forest Administration. A sample silviculture plan was prepared conveniently with the targets determined in Coruh River Watershed Action Plan in the study for Hisar Forest Administration facing a renovation process according to an ecosystem based functional forest management approach.
