Abstract (EN)

The project; from Borcka center town of Artvin city flowing through Georgia into the Black Sea Coruh river; from center city of Ordu flowing into the Black Sea Melet River and from Tirebolu center town of Giresun city flowing into the Black Sea Harsit Stream was carried out to determine the respiration rate of sediment."Sediment respiration" is a good indicator of pollution which was increased due to sedimentation caused by organic substances in the water environment and precipitation of contaminant elements in the mud floor. The study was begun in June 2015 and although the study of field work was carried out in different months painstakingly to collect sediment samples within the same season.The study is planned for evaluating the capacity of the respiratory and comparing the above-mentioned water resources, it was evaluated by laboratory studies using soil respiration circle.For the study; the examples from the determined top 5 cm of sediment layers was collected from the build of Artvin Deriner Dam upon river Coruh; Melet River and Harsit Stream. Microbial decomposition was taken each in Soil segment in the respiratory circle was incubated in the dark at 25 ° C and 1, 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 36. in days sediment breathing was measured. Sediment respiration values with pH and sediment samples by identifying amount of organic matter was carried out statistical analyzes. The results were obtained and interpreted according to national (TSE, Ministry of Agriculture), international (FAO, WHO, EPA) index and classified.
