Abstract (EN)

Humanity has been struggling with various types of global epidemics since the earliest moments of history. Covid-19, which emerged in 2019, has created a pandemic period as one of these epidemic types. Various restrictions have been imposed globally to slow down and end the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. These restrictions, implemented to prevent individuals from spreading the virus, have also affected the tourism sector. This process has directed the tourism sector to develop alternative tourism models and encourage tourists to actively engage in nature-based tourism. In line with this information, one of the tourism types that can be done both in nature and in compliance with the physical distancing rule is glamping tourism. In this regard, the aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of the local people and tourism businesses in Trabzon province towards glamping tourism before and after the COVID-19 pandemic and to objectively examine the perspectives of both stakeholders based on these attitudes. In line with this aim, survey data were collected from the local people and tourism businesses in Trabzon province using the Sustainable Tourism Attitude Scale (SUS-TAS), and the perspectives in these survey data were measured.
