Abstract (EN)

The genus Crepis L. which belongs to the family Asteraceae is represented by 40 taxa in Turkey. In this study, 10 species of belonging to the genus Crepis (Crepis amanica, C. aspera, C. dioscoridis, C. fraasii, C. frigida, C. libanotica, C. multiflora, C. sahendii, C. stojanovii ve C. syriaca) were examined by achene and pappus micromorphology with the help of scanning electron microscope (SEM). The plant materials examined were collected during plant's vegetation period in 2011-2014. Samples which collected in the fieldwork were dried pressed and became herbarium material. Achene and pappus samples collected during the fieldwork or taken from the herbarium materials were used SEM analysis. The species examined that result of SEM analysis achene surface were determined rough (ruguloz, tuberculosis, papillate, spinose) or smooth. In addition, the species which have achene surface rough was observed some differences between on ribs and among ribs. Furthermore, the species which heterocarpic (C. aspera, C. dioscoridis and C. syriaca) was found to be different in the central and ray achene micromorphology. In the examined species, pappus is formed spiny cells and was determined to be species differences in the frequency of spiny cells. In terms of taxonomic, these outcomes acquired appeared important.
