Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the design and control of the CUK converter has been realized. Mathematical analysis of the CUK converter was done. State space Averaging technique was applied to find the dynamic model of the system. Here, a fourth-order parametric transfer function is obtained. Using the obtained parameters, the CUK converter is simulated in MATLAB / SIMULINK environment and the results are evaluated. Interface design was made to find the transfer function and control parameters required for the system by using the User Based Interface (GUI) editor in MATLAB. With the designed interface, the transfer function is created by entering the parameters of the converter. Control parameters of the system (P, PI, PID) were obtained by using Ziegler-Nichols method. The system was simulated in MATLAB / SIMULINK environment as uncontrolled, PI controlled and PID controlled, and the results were evaluated. Finally, the effects on the PID control performance at different parameter values of the CUK converter were examined. The most appropriate control values for the system were observed.
