Obstacles and solution approaches to the common grid integration of distributed generation facilities

Power generation facilities based on solar energy and embedded in the distribution system have become widespread in recent years with an increasing momentum and this situation brings technical and commercial constraints or problems. Especially at points where the consumption-production balance is disturbed, excessive voltage problems occur during the day. Considering the regulation changes and the development of technology, it is predicted that these problems will be felt more in the coming years. Within the scope of this thesis, a comprehensive literature review has been carried out on the problems and solution approaches arising from the rapidly spreading distributed generation.
