Abstract (EN)
As a thinker of the Enlightenment, the English empiricist David Hume unearthed the basic foundations of the metaphysical elements that existed in the philosophies of his predecessors, albeit limitedly, and declared them sophistry, thus bringing empiricism to its most perfect form. When we look at the path that Hume followed in the whole of his first book, "Of The Understanding" of A Treatise of Human Nature, and of his entire book An Inquiry Concerning Human Understanding, and the subjects and concepts he dealt with, it will be seen that from beginning, in which the former separates human perceptions into impression and idea, to the end, where the latter arrives at a clear metaphysical opposition, his goal is to try to separate the boundaries of knowledge and sophistry. The aim of this study is to reveal Hume's metaphysics interpretation based on his epistemology in the axis of causality understanding and skepticism.
