Abstract (EN)

Continuous progress is observed in our country regarding the continuously developing aviation sector. Our country, which has developed only in the field of aircraft maintenance, supply and logistics in the past, has made great strides in aircraft design and production in recent days. In this study, the effects of wing arrow angle change on flight performance and stability were calculated. In this context, the T-37B trainer aircraft, which is in the inventory of our country, was modeled using OPEN VSP and DATCOM programs and its aerodynamic coefficients were obtained. Firstly, flight performance and stability analyzes were made for T-37B aircraft. Afterwards, it has been tried to answer the question of what would be the changes in flight performance and stability if the T-37B trainer could be converted into a wing structure with a variable arrow angle. Within the scope of the thesis, calculations were made for the take-off, climb, range, descent, glide, approach and maneuver performance of the aircraft. Stability states of the aircraft were examined statically and dynamically with priority. The effect of the arrow angle change of the aircraft whose stability was calculated in the selected flight condition on the flight stability was calculated. For the T-37B trainer aircraft, which was examined with performance and stability aspects, calculations were made for -10º, -5º, 0º, 10º, 20º, 40º arrow angle changes and the positive and negative aspects of the aircraft were successfully calculated according to both positive and negative arrow angle changes.
