Abstract (EN)

The geography of India has hosted many states, nations or communities with different characteristics since the earliest periods of history. The Lodi Dynasty and the members of this dynasty, Lodis have been the inhabitants of the aforementioned geography for many years. Lodi Dynasty, India's political, economic, religious and cultural etc. It has an important place in many different fields. Their origins, their relations with the Hindus, who are the indigenous members of India, their contribution to the development of the of Islam in India, and their administrative understanding in the regions where they established their sovereignty, and all their political histories are intriguing matters. In this study, which deals with the events between 1451-1526, the period when the Lodi Dynasty established political dominance in India, the political history of the Lodi Dynasty is revealed in details. In this direction, firstly, brief information is given about the general political situation in India in the periods before the Lodi Dynasty established its sovereignty. After this information is given, the origins of the Lodi tribe, which formed the Lodi Dynasty, and the period when its relations with India began are discussed. After that, information was given about the activities of Lodis until the period when they established their sovereignty in India. Then the three sultans of Lodi Dynasty; The political activities of Sultan Behlül Shah Lodi, Sultan Iskender Shah Lodi and Sultan Ibrahim Shah Lodi during their reign are discussed in all details.
