Abstract (EN)

Reaction cross section data are needed to better understand the nuclear structure and reaction mechanisms, to develop new reaction models and to test the accuracy of existing models. The cross sections can be obtained from theoretical models or experimental measurements. Theoretical model calculations are very important in obtaining cross sections, because experimental data is not available in some nuclear reaction channels and energy ranges, and also an experiment may have some errors. In this study, nuclear cross section calculations of the reactions induced by neutron particles on cadmium isotopes were carried out using equilibrium and pre-equilibrium models. In this calculations, while Weisskopf-Ewing model and Hauser- Feshbach model were used for equilibrium emissions, Exciton model, Two-component exciton model and Geometry dependent hybrid model were used for pre-equilibrium emissions. TALYS 1.8, EMPIRE 3.2 and ALICE/ASH computer codes were used for the model calculations and the obtained cross section results were compared with the experimental data.
