Abstract (EN)
This study aims to analyze the competitive strategies of material and system suppliers operating in Turkey's new shipbuilding industry within the framework of developments in digitalization, sustainability, and logistics. The research is based on Porter's generic strategies (cost leadership, differentiation, and focus) and employs a quantitative method. Data were collected through a standardized survey conducted with 305 participants. The findings reveal a strategic orientation toward differentiation and innovation, and indicate that demographic variables such as gender, education, experience, and company scale have significant effects on strategic preferences. Moreover, it was concluded that digital technologies, sustainable logistics practices, and customer relationship management enhance competitive advantage. By also addressing the impact of supply chain challenges and governmental support on strategic orientations, the study provides both practical and academic contributions to the sector. Keywords: Shipbuilding, competitive strategies, supply chain, digitalization, sustainability.
