Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted in 2023 with the aim of determining the population dynamics of Pityokteines curvidens (Col.: Curculionidae, Scolytinae), which causes damage to the Devrek Forests. The research was carried out to understand the impact of the harmful insect Pityokteines curvidens on the fir forests in the Zonguldak-Devrek region. Experimental areas were identified in locations exhibiting signs of drying and pheromone traps were placed in these areas. The pheromone traps were periodically monitored and examined. The research results recorded information about the locations where the identified species were detected.
