Abstract (EN)
The history of entrepreneurship is a concept that dates back to ancient times and is the subject of many researches. In the economy, the entrepreneurship sector has a very important share. In today's conditions, it can be said that the entrepreneurship sector is developing with the rapid progress of technology. In this context, it is known that women have an important place in the entrepreneurship sector. With the developments in information and communication technologies, technological tools have had an important place in our lives. These developments have revealed the concept of "Digital Citizenship", which is a new concept. A digital citizen is a person or person who obeys ethical rules, can criticize, learns, researches, uses technology by fulfilling digital rights and responsibilities, respects and does not harm other individuals while using technological tools. In this context, it is necessary for women entrepreneurs to fulfill the citizenship norms they fulfill in traditional entrepreneurship in the digital environment by using technology. This situation allows women entrepreneurs to be defined as digital citizens by staying true to citizenship norms in the technology environment. This research; It was conducted in the form of a quantitative study in which a relational survey model was applied, aiming to determine the relationship between individual entrepreneurial tendencies and digital citizenship behaviors of women entrepreneurs who are members of KAGIDER (Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey), ANGİKAD (Entrepreneurial Business Women Association) and AMWAY. In this context, the research sample consists of 429 women entrepreneurs determined by simple random sampling method. Due to the limitations of the research, the data obtained from 406 women entrepreneurs were included and analyzes were carried out. The "Digital Citizenship Behavior" scale developed by Choi, Glassman and Cristol (2017) and adapted into Turkish by Erdem and Koçyiğit (2019) and the "Individual Entrepreneurship" scale developed by Sart (2020) were used. As a result of the findings obtained from the women entrepreneurs participating in the research, it was determined that there is a negative and weak relationship between individual entrepreneurship tendency and digital citizenship. When the relationship between the scales is evaluated; It was concluded that the highest relationship was between the interested dimension of individual entrepreneurship and the technical skills dimension of digital citizenship. It was determined that the lowest relationship was between individual entrepreneurship and the critical perspective of digital citizenship.
