Abstract (EN)

The aim of this research is to develop a digital educational game about healthy and balanced nutrition in the primary school life science and science curriculum and to get the opinions of the students about the game by offering this game to them to play. In this context, the design-based research design was used in the research. The ADDIE model was included in this design. Within the scope of the subject addressed, a two-part game was developed on the Makecode Arcade game development platform by carrying out prototyping processes. The developed digital game was played by 35 students and their opinions were obtained by conducting focus group interviews with these students. As a result of the findings obtained, the students stated that they liked the character and figure designs in the game, the fact that the game was educational and that the characters collected food, and they stated that they wanted to add different types of food to the game. They emphasized that they liked the game very much in general. At the end of the research, the game was given its final shape according to the findings. As a result of these results, research implications were given for the findings obtained.
