Abstract (EN)

Today, digital education platforms are becoming increasingly important in learning processes. Especially learning foreign languages through various digital tools and applications is becoming widespread. Digitalization has led to significant changes in the field of education, making educational processes more accessible, flexible and interactive. Foreign language learning has shifted from traditional methods to online and mobile platforms; this has offered individuals the opportunity to learn from anywhere they want. Digital tools enrich the foreign language learning process with personalized learning content, feedback and progress tracking. In this context, individuals may have difficulty choosing which of the many digital platforms on the market is the most suitable for them. Considering this problem, the most used foreign language education platforms among individuals were determined and compared with Multi-Criteria Decision Making methods. While making this comparison, a literature review was used to determine the criteria and a criteria pool was created as a result of this process. The criteria to be used in the study were determined and scored by receiving opinions from experts. Thus, the weight values of the criteria were calculated with the SWARA method. Then, experts scored the digital platforms within the framework of these criteria and the evaluations were made according to these scores using the MOORA, ARAS and BORDA counting methods. As a result of these evaluations, a final ranking was obtained and the platform with the highest value was "Cambly". This platform received high scores from decision makers and ranked first thanks to the personalized, interactive and flexible language learning model it offers. This result shows the importance of one-on-one instructor support and flexible learning options in foreign language learning.
