Abstract (EN)
In this study, general soil characteristics, nitrogen mineralization and microbial respiration effects of different plant species in rehabilitation area were investigated. This study was carried out on the rehabilitation site in the district 213 in Arhavi Forest Management Directorate of the Central Forestry Administration. To carry out the work, 3 beech, 3 alder, 3 beech + alder planting fields and 3 soil samples were taken from the areas that were not planted. Soil samples were taken from 0-5 cm, 5-10 cm depth ranges and used in general soil analyzes, nitrogen mineralization and microbial respiration analyzes. Nitrogen mineralization study was carried out according to laboratory incubation method. Microbial respiration and nitrogen mineralization measurements were made in soil samples. It was determined that the plant sample planting variability had an effect on the soil characteristics because the study sample was 30 months old from the sowing but this effect did not make most soil characteristics statistically significant. At the same time, it is thought that this contribution will become more evident in the future when the alder planting has important contributions to the improvement of the working areas.
