Abstract (EN)

In this study, children and adolescents diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) were evaluated by using computer based test battery (CNSVS) and executive function differences among ADHD subtypes classified according to DSM-IV criteria. The study group consisted of 100 children and adolescents aged between 8-15 years who were diagnosed with ADHD fort he first time as a result of the interview conducted by a child and adolescent psychiatrists for the first time. In all interviews: Sociodemographic Data Form, Screening and Evalution of Disruptive Behavior Disorders Scale Kiddie Schedule for Affective Disorder and Schizophrenia is used. Study of ADHD etiology has shown that executive dysfunctions have an important role in etiology. According to the subtest scores of the test battery that is applied, when the subtypes of ADHD were evaluated among themselves, it was seen that subgroup of attention deficit performed better than the subgroup of combined. The results of the scale applied to the parents also support the test results.
