Özet (EN)

In this study, Farabi and Ibn Sina's views about Demiurge has been discussed in the context of the connection between religion and philosophy. The philosophical system established by both philosophers was built and grounded on two pillars, depending on the Islamic religion and the Greek philosophical tradition. According to them, the information obtained by the philosopher and the information obtained by the prophet from the angel of revelation originate from the same source, namely Demiurge. These opinions and evaluations of them indicate that these two are one in a sense to the reconciliation of philosophy and religion according to them, the Demiurge acts as an intermediary between the two universe and is the main reason for both being and obtaining knowledge. In other words, Demiurge is the most important factor in the formation of knowledge, in establishing the connection between physics and metaphysics, and in obtaining metaphysical knowledge. According to them, Demiurge is the only criterion that empowers human beings in a mental sense, that is, by transforming the state of thought into a real action, enabling the formation of knowledge and achieving happiness, which is the most magical purpose of mankind. While the philosopher who accomplished an alliance with the Demiurge describes them with rational proofs, the prophet expresses them with symbolic connotations thanks to his imagination. According to them, while the information that the philosopher obtained from the Demiurge with his rational effort was addressing a certain group (the educatedcultivated class), they stated that the prophet addressed the common people thanks to the symbolic language he used. Key Words: Farabi, Ibn Sina, Philosophy, Religion, Demiurge, Philosopher, Prophet.
