Diatom (Naviculaceae) database

Diatoms, which are unicellular organisms and an important subgroup of algae, are used in many industries and environmental engineering applications. For this reason, studies on diatoms gained importance in recent years. In this thesis, some of the studies about diatoms to date have been compiled, as an example for the next studies and presented to scientists doing research on this subject, in Turkish, using technological resources. In this study, primarily, the studies, about the species that are belong to Navicula genus that is commonly found in our country, are examined and recorded in a database. It is observed that, it is possible to search on the obtained data, according to characteristics, using a web site.
