The contrubution of naturel landscape to economy through tourism: The case of Bursa Sadaği canyon and it's environment

Natural landscape areas are the center of attention of local and foreign tourists with their natural and cultural features and beauties. The role of natural landscape areas in the quality of life is very important. People living in areas whose naturalness is degraded by today's urbanization need such natural areas more. People visit natural landscape areas both for fresh air and for tourism purposes according to their purposes. In this study, the examples of canyons in the world and in our country, which are important in terms of tourism, are examined and how canyons are formed, what kinds of activities are carried out in canyon tourism, and the tourism potential of canyons, and their protection and use status. As a result of these examinations, an idea was obtained for the activities that can be held in Sadağı Canyon. The purpose of the study is to examine the contributions of canyons, which are considered as one of the natural landscape areas with tourism potential, to tourism and economy and to determine how Sadağı Canyon, which is our research subject, contributes. In addition, by identifying the problems and deficiencies in the field thanks to the survey studies conducted, it is to offer suggestions for the functional and aesthetic development of the area. In this context, concepts such as the historical development of tourism, ecotourism, the concept of natural landscape, recreation and tourism have been examined and these investigations have been associated with our current field of study.
