Abstract (EN)

SUMMARY Nowadays Linear Induction Motors (LIM) have very wide applications in technique. The important one of these is the train with high speed. Since LIMs have higher losses compared to the rotary induction motors and end effects, their efficiency is quite low. Therefore, the speed control in LIM presents different features. For instance, as the speed increases, the process of speed control and mechanical responses must be very quick. Therefore, in this thesis, the Fuzzy Logic control method has been chosen for the speed control of the LIM under examination with the Fuzzy Logic, the optimal switching angle for the PWM which is used to control the speed of the LIM can be obtained. Fuzzy rules are formed by observing the current and flux vectors, thereby the voltage and frequency. The results obtained from the method mentioned above the response time of the flux, the mechanical force and the speed is shorter than that of conventional control methods. Also, ossilations in the mechanical force and velocity have smaller amplitude and die away very rapidly. Keywords : Lineer Induction Motor, Fuzzy Logic and Control VI
