Abstract (EN)
This research was conducted to investigate the vegetation cover of some natural and cultural Protected Areas in Turkey's Eastern Mediterranean Region. A total of 481 taxa were identified in our study area, belonging to 307 genus of 88 families, 354 species, 82 subspecies and 45 varieties. Of these, 51 (10.60%) are endemic. 481 taxons belong to Pteridophyta 4, 477 belong to Spermatophyta divisors. Eleven of the members of the spermatophyta belong to the Gymnospermae, 466 to the Angiospermae subdivisor. Of the Angiospermae, 409 are in the Dicotyledones, and 57 are in the Monocotyledones. In the study area, distribution of taxa in phytogeographical regions is as follows; 80 (% 16.63) taxa Mediterranean, 92 (19.13%) taxa Eastern Mediterranean, 31 (6.44%) taxon Iran-Turan, 27 (5.61%) taxon Europe-Siberia, 1 (0.21) taxon Saharo-Sindian Elementi, 1 (0.21%) taxon Culture Plant, 100 (20.79%) taxon wide spread and 149 (30.98%) taxon spread area unknown. In the study area, the largest 12 families according to species and subspecies number of taxa; Liliaceae 19 (3.95%), Poaceae 18 (3.74%), Fabaceae 63 (13.10%), Asteraceae 48 (9.98%), Lamiaceae 48 (9.98%), Brassicaceae 23 (4.78%), Boraginaceae 15 (3.12%), Ranunculaceae 13 (2.70%), Rosaceae 12 (2.49%), Caryophyllaceae 11 (2.29%), Scrophulariaceae 11 (2.29%), Chenopodiaceae 10 (2.08%) is in the shape. In our study area, the first 12 breeds with the highest number of taxa and the ratio were; Salvia 9 (2.93%), Centaurea 7 (2.28%), Stachys 7 (2.28%), Vicia 6 (1.95%), Muscari 6 (1.95%), Euphorbia 5 (1.63%), Lathyrus 5 (1.63%), Lotus 5 (1.63%), Trifolium 5 (1.63%), Geranium 5 (1.63%) is in the shape. Endemic and non-endemic (rare) 60 taxon hazard categories are as follows. 3 taxa critical ''CR'', 5 taxa in danger ''EN'', 14 taxa can be harmed ''VU'', 19 taxa least worrisome ''LC', 18 taxa threatened ''NT'' , 1 taxon data is inadequate in category ''DD''.
