Abstract (EN)
In this study, it has been studied for finding out the anatomical properties of some Berberis L. Species that grown in the East Black Sea Region of Turkey. In order to determine anatomical properties of 3 species of this family, wood samples have been taken between 545 and 1500 metres of Trabzon, Gümüşhane and Bayburt areas. Anatomical structure in wood samples, vessels (their tangential and radial diameters, thickness of cell walls, longness of cell, their groups, longness of perforation plates, their number in 1 mnr), rays (their numbers in 1 mm- and 1 mm, their heights and widths), imperforate tracheary elements (their longness, widths, thickness of cell walls, lumen diameters), axial parenchyma have been measured. All results of data have been analyzed with statistical methods. Key Words: Turkey, East Black Sea Region, Wood Anatomy, Berberidaceae, Berberis
