Abstract (EN)
In this research, the antibacterial activities of the acetone, chloroform and methanol extracts of Tanacetum albipannosum, Lamium gundelsheimeri, Centaurea drabifolioides, Hieracium giresunense and Symphytum sylvaticum grown in East Black Sea Region were investigated against Enterococcus feacalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria monocytogenes, Bacillus subtilis, Klepsiella pneumonia, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli and Proteus vulgaris, by well diffusion method. The results showed that the extracts have antibacterial activity to different degrees against the bacteries used in this study. The acetone extract of C. drabifolioides showed the highest antibacterial activity against, L. monocytogenes strain. The plant extracts used in this study showed no activity against gram-negative bacteries.
