Abstract (EN)

Observations on Migratory Birds in The Eastern Karadeniz Region From ornitological point of view Türkiye has an impoi - tant place among the western palearctic countries. Türkiye inhabits many birds species which has been diminished and extinct in the continent of Europe. The Eastern Karadeniz Region has an important position regarding the migration of the birds, universally. The north east-south migration route is one of the important ways fre quented by the migratory birds over Türkiye. The most impor tant part of this migration route which is in the form of a collecting funnel is situated in the Eastern Karadeniz Region. Birds have been taking this route regularly every year while migrating in the direction of north - south, east - west in addition to northeast - south route over this region. Among these birds there are some species which are facing the danger of extinction. The migratory birds face a lot of risks during this flight. We do not have sufficient information in respect to the migratory birds in the region, yet. We can not preserve them and make use of them under the circumstances. Therefore, it has been necessary to make a research on the subject of
