Abstract (EN)

DreamWorks Animation uses notions of socialism to create a reaction to the capitalist system, reveal the flaws of the capitalist system, target the capitalist system and negate the capitalist system. While negating the capitalist system on the one hand, he shows the elements of the ideology of Socialism very clearly in the three DreamWorks Animation productions on the other. The Bee Movie, Chicken Run and Ant Z. These movies have assumed social and political roles, are of a class nature, and embody the ideology of socialism. Bees, chickens, ants are social animals that do not exist in the individual situation. Therefore, the socialist order is described as the most ideal and most appropriate model in the films. In order to ensure the continuity of the ideology of socialism, this type of animated films have been produced. Content analysis and discourse analysis methods were applied while analyzing the Bee Movie, Chicken Run and Ant Z movies. In the direction of the findings, the themes revealed by the content processed and developed in the films; socialism, sacrifice, hard work is courage. Prioritizing personal pleasures, individualism, consumerism, popular culture narratives are negated as elements of the capitalist system in the films examined. It causes us to question the position we occupy in the social hierarchy. The films examined try to gain a place in the memory of the society with their contents and discourses and bring a critical view to the society.
