Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is, to determine the industry 4.0 implementation and process of foreign trade firms and discuss the factors that make it difficult or easy to compete in the international era. These research questions which guided the research: i- How do investors prepare for industry 4.0 and what are their implementations?, ii- How are those practices exposed? The study is composed of three chapters. In the first chapter, stages of industrial revolutions discussed. The second chapter of the study introduced industry 4.0 implementation and processes of foreign trade firms in different countries. Finally, in this section, 2023 vision of Turkey and 2025 targets of Germany were compared to by industry 4.0 frames. In the third chapter of the study, the introduction of the methodology of field search and the analysis of 8 firms take place. The reasons of this choice and the elaboration of the field search process are mentioned in detail in the third chapter. The findings of the analysis are represented in two stages as; i- Analysis of how investors prepare for industry 4.0 and apply to, ii –to find out industry 4.0 of implementation and process of foreign trade firms. Finally, in the analysis is conducted under the headings of Featured Codes in Analysis. In the literature, the data obtained from the field research were compared and common aspects were determined.
