Abstract (EN)

In proton accelerator systems with low beta, transferring the beam to the accelerator cavity without losing its intensity and forming the electromagnetic field properly in the accelerator cavity are among the most important goals. In this thesis, the effect of space charge on the emittance growth has been investigated by studying the space charge effect caused by the internal interactions of the accelerator beam with a current value of 1.4 mA, which is intended to be transferred to the accelerator cavity that will operate at 800 MHz in the Kandilli Dedector, Accelerator and Instrumentation Laboratory (KAHVELab), by studying the growth of the beam size along the horizontal and vertical axes. Electromagnetic field tests and measurements have also been carried out using the bead-pull method for the trial module of the Radio Frequency Quadrupole (RFQ) where the transmitted beam will be accelerated.
