Abstract (EN)
The active presentation of health services forms one of the most important social improvements. In this thesis, in the NUTs 2 regions in Turkey, a social improvement ranking has been provided by forming a competition analysis of the health sector. In this research study, the principle component analysis has been used as the analysis method. According to the results of the analysis, it has been detected some differences of the development among the NUTs 2 regions. In the ranking of development, it has been concluded that while the most developed NUTs 2 regions are located in the west part of Turkey in terms of health the sector, the other five NUTs 2 regions in the end of the list are located in the east part of Turkey. In the light of the comparison of the development ranking in 2003 and 2013, it has been seen that health sector in the NUTs 2 regions is not in an equal development. According to the analysis conducted, it has concluded that the health sector in Turkey is to be available for everyone equally. Key Words: Health Sector, NUTs 2 regions, Principle Component Analysis.
