Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship was investigated in the same elevations and different soil characteristics in beech and spruce reforestation areas. This study was carried out on the afforestation sites in section 10, 173, 220 and 221 in Duzkoy Forest sub-district Directorate of Trabzon Forest Management. Soil samples were taken from spruce and beech fields from section 10 and 173; 220 and 221, respectively. A total of 50 soil samples were taken from 0-15 cm depth. Soil reaction, texture, pH, organic matter and mineralization were measured in soil samples. According to th laboratory analyzes, the following results were obtained in spruce and beech fields; pH (6,09 and 5,67), organic matter (6,13 and 8,14 %), nitrogen (0,22 and 0,28 %), C/N ratio (16,9 and 17,3), 63 days of NH4 (8,73 and 5,62 mg/100g), 63 days of NO3 (3,4 and 4,81 mg/100g) and 63 days of total mineralization (12,17 and 10,42 mg/100 g), respectively. As a result of the study, it was determined that the species used in afforestation have a statistically significant effect on soil properties (sand, clay, dust, pH, organic matter, total nitrogen, 63 days mineral NH4 and 63 days mineral NO3). In addition, the differences of aspect were affected some soil characteristics at a significant level (In spruce youth; sand, clay, dust total nitrogen, carbon nitrogen ratio, 63 day NH4, NO3 and total mineralization values, In beech youth pH, total nitrogen, carbon nitrogen ratio and 63 day NO3 mineralization values). Keywords: Rehabilitation, nitrogen mineralization, beech, spruce, Duzkoy.
