The soil samples were taken from 15 different locations selected at distances of 0, 10, and 20 meter away from highway and at a depth of 5 centimeter. After the necessary process the concentrations of the elements of (B, Al, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Mo, Cd, Sb, Ba, Au, Hg, and Pb) in the soil samples collected were determined by using ICP – MS (Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry).
