Effective school development according to the views of school sharers (The case of Şahinbey)

Özet (EN)

This research aims to determine the having of effective school size of schools in district, Şahinbey, of Gaziantep in terms of "administrators", ""teachers", "students", "learning environment and process", "school environment and culture" and "school environment and parent" with regards to perception of administrators and teachers who work in these schools.Data of this research are collected by using literature review and field research. In field research, administrators and teachers of elementary schools are subjected to questionnaire form by applying survey technique as the method.Administrators and teachers of elementary schools in Şahinbey, Gaziantep in 2012-2013 Academic Years constitutes the population of this research. There are 43 administrators and 241 teachers in this research group.The findings of this research are below;1-According to perceptions of administrators and teachers with regards to effective school features, the most effective size is "school administrators" and the least effective size is "school environment and parent".2-There isn't any significant difference between man and woman participants about effective school in terms of administrator opinions.3-It's determined that administrator opinions about effective schools are significantly change according to seniority of participants.4-It's determined that effective school opinions of participants significantly change according to their academic and age levels.5-It's determined that effective school opinions of participants don't significantly change according to their branches.
