Özet (EN)

The purpose of this research is to identify the barriers based on the female administrators' opinions about career management and to find solutions in order to overcome that barriers. This research is qualitative study with a multiple holistic case study design. Based on scanning literature, conceptional framework was created. In the formation of semi-structured interview form, the ideas of expert were applied. The data was collected with the technique of interview and semi-structured interview form. The population of this study consist of fourteen female administrators chosen voluntarily from different schools in Central District of Antalya in 2017-2018 educational year. In the analyzing of data achieved by the interviews the NVIVO.10 Qualitative Data Analyzing Programme was used and by this way the data was explained and interpreted.The frequency and percentage of the data was presented with tables and graphs in accordance with their purpose. At the end of the research it has been identified that women encounter a lot of barriers in the progress of career management and need more efford compared to men.In addition to installing roles of women in patriarchal society,the biased attitude of the people women teachers do not prefer being a manager who have anxiety of proving themselves.But,if there is a chance for them to show themselves it can be said that women managers take advantages for their schools.By arranging organizations, they strenghten the communication for the sake of organizational culture,and bring esthetics and order with the women point of view.
