Educational organizations' view on participation banking activities: The example of Bingol province

Given the complexity in the global economy, a strong banking system and financial infrastructure is vital for the sustainable growth and stability of the economy. The banking system provides liquidity to the economy by utilizing savings and supports the growth of businesses and meeting the needs of individuals by providing credit opportunities. Participation banking is attracting increasing attention in the Islamic world in particular and in the whole world in general, and its share in the financial sector is gradually increasing. Therefore, the attractive aspects and different aspects of participation banks must be conveyed to the target audience and their feedback must be evaluated correctly by the society. As a result of the scans carried out, it was concluded that the research conducted on this subject in the country is very limited and the public recognition and awareness is insufficient. One of the important outcomes of this research is that it contributes to increasing awareness about participation banking. In the research, the perspectives of the employees of educational organizations on participation banking activities were determined in terms of general perception, service quality perception and financial perception. Secondly; To reveal whether the general perception dimension has an effect on the service quality perception and financial perception dimension, thirdly; It was aimed to determine the relationship between general perception, service quality perception and financial perception. Research data was obtained by survey method. The survey form was prepared within the scope of this research, and the validity and reliability of the scale was determined through a pilot study. The survey form consists of four parts: demographic variables, general perception dimension, service quality perception dimension and financial perception dimension. Research data was obtained by convenience sampling method from 395 teachers working within the borders of Bingöl province. As a result of the analyzes conducted within the scope of the research, it was determined that the general perception dimension had a positive and significant effect on the service quality perception and financial perception dimension. It has been determined that there is a positive significant relationship between the general perception dimension, service quality perception and financial perception dimensions.
