Abstract (EN)

Organisational silence is defined as a phenomenon in which individuals refrain from expressing their thoughts and ideas about the problems, problems or developments in the organisation they work for. Job satisfaction is considered as a fundamental element that shapes employees' motivation, level of commitment to work and willingness to contribute to organisational goals. Therefore, understanding individuals' job satisfaction is a critical factor for organisations' productivity, employee commitment and job performance. Job stress can have negative physical and psychological effects by straining an individual's ability to cope with work-related responsibilities. Therefore, understanding and managing job stress is an important issue in terms of employee health, motivation level and overall job performance. This study examines the relationship between organisational silence, job stress and job satisfaction in the electricity distribution sector. The study has theory and practice sections and survey model was used. Data were collected through questionnaire and literature review methods. The questionnaire includes a total of 38 questions, including 6 questions that determine the demographic characteristics of the participants, 20 questions measuring organizational silence, 5 questions measuring job satisfaction and 7 questions measuring job stress. The population of the research consists of 1200 employees working in the electricity distribution sector in the provinces of Malatya, Elazığ, Bingöl and Tunceli in the TRB1 Region. The sample consists of 211 people. Frequency values, normality, reliability, validity, validity, regression analyses and structural equation modeling were performed with 95% confidence level using SPSS 26 program. As a result of this research, it was observed that there was a statistically significant relationship between the participants' perceptions of organizational silence and job stress, while there was no statistically significant relationship between the participants' perceptions of job satisfaction and job stress and between job satisfaction and organizational silence.
